Bangkok will see legendary techno producer Sven Väth return to the decks at an RCA party venue for one night next month.
The German DJ, lovingly referred to by fans as Papa Sven, is known for his influential work in the German underground techno and house music scenes. He’ll play Feb. 4 at V12 by Onyx, courtesy of EDM organizer Retox Sessions. DJ Maurizio Schmitz will warm up the crowd for the night.
Väth’s show follows another famous techno artist at the same venue, Richie Hawtin, who is set to play tonight.

With a DJ career spanning over 30 years, Sven Väth is the founder of booking agency and label Cocoon. His famously long DJ sets – he’s played up to 30 hours – usually involve spinning vinyl as well.
He has been a resident DJ at Ibiza’s famous Amnesia nightclub for over 20 years, and remains one of dance music’s best-known figures.
The DJ previously played Bangkok’s Live Arena venue in RCA in January 2019.
