The New Year’s music events are coming in even harder. The first week of 2023 will see techno master Richie Hawtin on the decks at an RCA party venue for just one night.
One of techno’s highly influential figures, the British-Canadian producer known for innovating DJ tech including his own line of analog mixers, will play Jan. 6 at V12 by Onyx, a party put on by EDM organizer Retox Sessions.
Despite the venue being mostly reserved for mainstream EDM and underground house events, it’s probably safe to expect techno from the techno pioneer.

Hawtin last came to Thailand for Wonderfruit’s 2017 Winter edition in Pattaya, and played Bangkok’s Retox Arena for the 2014 edition of the 808 Festival, where he played alongside techno stalwarts Loco Dice and Hot Since 82.
