Enjoy the Bangkok weekend at a market fair in critically hip Ari later this month.
Shop for independently produced arts and crafts, join workshops, take in entertainment, and of course, eat and drink Sept. 24 and 25 at the Ari Weekend Market.
From 10am to 5pm, Yellow Lane will host activities including an art workshop, meditation session, dance party, and live music.
Entry is free but some events require paid tickets.
The Art is Fun Workshop held on both days includes wheel-thrown pottery (THB600) and watercolor painting (THB500). The painting sessions will mostly be in the afternoon after 1pm. Tickets are available online.
For THB200, watch Missed You, a rhythmic body dance performance by Kwin Bhichitkul and Sirimas Yodsuwan.
On both days, enjoy melodic hand pan, or hang drum, music by Annmanee Singhanart.
Take in the guitar work of Hugodarwin, which will play for free at 1pm on Saturday.
Do yoga and meditate with Lu Yang for 90 minutes at 10am on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Tickets are THB500 and also available online. Finally, unleash your joy for living at a “solar ecstatic dance” between 10:30 am and 2:30pm, tickets for which cost THB700 online.
