Listen to the Design: NOBLE’s New Campaign invites Art Lovers to hear “The Sound of Architecture”

Art is so essential to our lives, whether you realize it or not. A pop song on the way to work, the shapes of the Bangkok skyline at sunset. We listen to music to soothe our minds and gaze at art pieces for the sake of our aesthetic pleasure. But have you ever listened to the sound of architecture? No, it’s not a tricky question. Noble Development (NOBLE) has recently kicked off the new campaign NOBLE | Define The Difference, The Sound of Architecture to echo its design philosophy and core belief of “Be Different, Be Noble” by decoding the architectural design of each iconic project into graphic patterns and transmitted into SOUND…to let you sense the difference.

For the first time ever, we’re invited to admire the beauty of architecture not through our eyes, but through our sense of hearing. This exciting one-of-the-kind architectural sound showcase invites art lovers to experience the unique design of 5 iconic projects by NOBLE – Noble Ploenchit, Noble Around Sukhumvit 33, Noble BE19, Noble BE33 and Noble Gable Kanso Watcharapol, by listening.

With the help of Sathapat Tum Teeranitayapap, a celebrated sound engineer from Thai band Monotone, NOBLE decoded its unique interior and exterior architectural design in simple graphic patterns by using 3-color scales (white, black, and gray) to represent the volume of the sound, while graphic shapes and colors create music out of these elements.

Beyond the patterns, architecture, and interior design, the music also reflects the physical material of the buildings; the different sounds of steel, glass, and wood. The whole experience is a reflection of NOBLE’s unique identity.

We know where the sounds came from, but how do they actually create the music? NOBLE has developed a specialized “Sound Machine” just for this campaign that can read the white, black and gray graphic shapes arranged and mixed by Tum, to deliver the aesthetic sound experience. This campaign brings NOBLE’s philosophy “be different, be noble” to life. The idea of turning architecture into music is something new and unheard of.
