Eight months after top Thai drag darling Pangina Heals opened the doors to House of Heals, it is moving to a new home.

Relocating from Phayathai Road, the drag review destination will shine anew and welcome audiences again starting March 26 after a two-month hiatus resulting from Bangkok’s partial coronavirus lockdown.

Fans will have to wait until then to find out whether the new location keeps the silver glitter and pink neon decore of its “jungle safari wonderland” concept, but the new venue has promised live music, comedy and (of course) drag shows.

Apart from Pangina Heals herself, other top drag talents to perform on stage include Annee Maywong, Dearis Doll, Angele Anang, Kandy Zyanide, Meannie Minaj and Jaja the Kween.

Find it inside the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel on Phloen Chit Road, a few steps from BTS Chit Lom. The venue is 20-and-up; reservations are available online.

Pangina Heals is the alter ego of Pan Pan Nakprasert, who has risen to be one of the most famous drag performers in Thailand. In 2018, he hosted Drag Race Thailand, a homespun version of RuPaul’s Drag Race, for two seasons. Pangina Heals has headlined at numerous nightlife venues and was previously a regular at Maggie Choo’s, the Silom bar styled after a Shanghai speakeasy.

In 2014, Pangina hosted a six-episode reality queen series Queer As Fuck for Coconuts TV.
