After pulling off the first Thai “happiest 5K” in 2015, The Color Run will bring the fun to Bangkokians again as a part of the Tropicolor World Tour 2017.
Originated in the USA in 2011, The Color Run has taken place in over 200 cities and 20 countries. It “celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality” with a running route full of bright color. Having seen its success in Bangkok two years ago, it’s back for city dwellers’ sweat and joy.
The Color Run is not a timed race and has no winners. Instead of checkpoints, Color Runners will pass through the special zones where they will be covered in colorful powder. Runners are encouraged to focus on the healthy aspects and fun, as well as taking colorful selfies along the way.
The fun isn’t over at the finish line though. The throwing Festival afterparty awaits the runners, with music and other activities guarantees that everyone brings the colorful fun from outside in.
Brought to you by Fragrant Property and IMG Services (Thailand), the second Color Run is held on April 1 – 2 at Airport Rail Link Makkasan Station. Tickets are THB800, THB1,000 for VIP, and THB3,000 for Group registration (4 persons). Upon registration, runners will receive Tropicolor t-shirts, embroidered headbands, a color packet, temporary tattoos and many more gifts from the event sponsors. VIP ticket holders will also receive The Color Run sun glasses, flower leis, socks and wristband.
