After Art Box’s closure in 2020 left downtown without a convenient spot to eat, drink, shop, and people-watch, a new flea market has come along to give the after-work crowd somewhere to start the weekend.
The SWU Night Market is open every Friday night offering a number of food trucks and stalls at a downtown university whose lawn is reserved for picnicking and live music.
Venerable burger truck Daniel Thaiger will also serve its staples there.
Run by the Srinakharinwirot University, the market is open 4pm to 9pm. It’s located on the west side of the campus and is about 10 minutes on foot from MRT Phetchaburi or 15 minutes from BTS Asoke.
