A few months after it seemed to close for good, Asoke’s beloved Chu will reopen to serve its famous eggs Benedict, hearty pasta and decadent iced chocolate to Bangkok diners again just down the road.
Restaurant owner Chirayu “Toey” Na Ranong confirmed Friday that Chu will reopen in the coming months at a new location on Sukhumvit 31, midway between Asoke and Phrom Phong, by the Ministry of Crab and Wine Connection.

There isn’t an official opening date yet, but construction is underway and the new space could open as soon as November, Toey said.
In the meantime, Chu’s still offering delivery service courtesy of a cloud kitchen in Phra Khanong, which also prepares food from Crackhouse.
The temporary menu includes some of the cafe’s all-day breakfast classics, from eggs Benedict with smoked salmon (THB320) to a hefty pancake combo complete with scrambled eggs and smoked bacon (THB250).
Wash it down with Chu’s gourmet chocolate drinks, from THB150 for 35% milk chocolate to THB170 for 75% Tanzanian dark cacao.
You can also get Chu’s cakes, brownies, and iced chocolate at Crackhouse the Commons Saladaeng, or pick up their brownies at any Fowlmouth location.
