But after sampling the dishes on Hilton Sukhumvit’s new menu, you’ll surely be humming the tune. Actually, the whole song will be stuck in your head (if it’s not already – sorry!).
That’s because Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok just announced that its award-winning modern Italian restaurant Scalini, led by Executive Chef Supoj Suwanwong, is launching a new menu featuring Italian-inspired poultry dishes. And the song that inspired it all? You got it. R. Kelly just happens to be Chef Supoj’s favorite singer!
So how exactly does Chef Supoj plan to make his medley of flavors take flight and every customers’ taste buds sing?
He starts by using only the most carefully selected free-range poultry, locally sourced and free of hormones and steroids. The succulent protein is then balanced with local organic vegetables to create an enticing selection of new menu choices. Think home-cooked comfort food just like mama made, but with a modern contemporary spin.
Your sophisticated palate may detect a subtle hint of black truffle. We’ll let you in on a little secret: this sought after ingredient is one of Chef Supoj’s favorite ways to make his flavors fly right off the plate. And it works! Magnifico!
Chef Supoj recommends the perfectly crisp and juicy, oven-roasted whole free range chicken, which makes a great meal for two, and is priced at a reasonable THB1,950++. Main course menu items start at THB750++.
Scalini’s informal, yet stylish and sophisticated atmosphere makes it a great destination for dates, groups of friends and big family dinners. Or all of the above! Hey, there’s no shame in wanting to share these authentic Italian flavors with anyone and everyone.
