Sometimes the ol’ sweet tooth just wants something other than bubble tea or honey toast — and we’re happy to report that our options in the city just got sweeter.
Brioche from Heaven opened in Bangkok two weeks ago, specializing in the classic French yeasted bread brioche and other pastries. Founded by Iron Chef Thailand competitor Thananya Kaikaew, who’s best known as “Chef Gai,” the bakery’s specialty brioche is baked in-house daily using high quality butter produced in Normandy, flour imported from France and organic eggs.
The signature Brioche from Heaven (THB130) roll is filled with crushed pecans, cinnamon and brown sugar before getting topped with caramel swirls.
The Normandy Apple Brioche (THB120) is another item recommended by the chef. It’s got a sweet and sour flavor profile that makes an ideal fruity treat for those who don’t like their pastries overly sugary. And, the apples used in the recipe are delivered directly from Normandy.
Brioche from Heaven’s breads and pastries are larger than average, and suitable for sharing between two people. They can also be ordered for takeaway and be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Brioche from Heaven is located on Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra Road, in the Silom area. It can be reached on foot from BTS Chong Nonsi, exit No. 4.
