Gen. Prayuth Chan-o-cha, prime minister and junta leader, expressed “deep shock and sorrow” over the hundreds of people killed by terrorists Sunday in Sri Lanka.
Expressed his condolences in a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, Prayuth said he joined the international community in “strongly condemning this hideous act of violence against innocent people.”
“My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families of the victims during this difficult time, and I wish a speedy recovery for those injured,” he said in the statement.
