For all you ’90s kids who’ve been living in nostalgia land, here’s your chance to take a trip down memory lane.
Taking over the former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station on Good Friday, The Local People are throwing a party — okay, art market — set to the theme of the ’90s. From 3pm to 9pm, the place will be buzzing with indoor screenings of flicks like Red Dragonflies and Wormhole, digital art installations and ’90s music covers by the likes of Khai, The Barefoots and The Hummingbird Effect.
In the spirit of giving, there’ll be a booth by voluntary welfare organisation Food from the Heart collecting non-perishables (think instant noodles, rice, biscuits and canned goods) for distribution to the needy.
Feel free to stroll along the station platform and browse through a mishmash of art, food and retail vendors, including Old Hen Coffee Bar, Little Envelope Shop and Teaspoon of Love.
The Local People Express – Art Market is on Mar 25 at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station from 3pm-9pm.
