If you find yourself passing by Ion Orchard anytime from now till December, you won’t miss the massive Christmas tree decorated by Tiffany & Co outside the mall. As usual, it’s a walk-in tree, and this year the 20m-tall sparkler features an interactive video booth with a gilttering New York City backdrop. So if you’re not going anywhere for the holiday season, at least you can take a ‘New York’ photo with the vibrant city skyline and collect it at the Tiffany & Co duplex on the first floor.
Next to the humongous tree is an illuminated labyrinth decked out in shiny ornaments, huge reindeers, cuddly penguins and toy soldiers — you probably won’t mind getting ‘lost’ in this maze.
Other activities in the ongoing festive celebrations include a Robinsons toy fair, a Santa meet and greet, a cappella performances, an exhibition of artworks by Rainbow Centre students, and lots more.
Oh, and if you feel a little perk in your step when you enter the mall, perhaps it’s because the building has been spritzed with a special holiday scent mix of hyacinth, white tea, ginger, musk and moss.
The Ion Orchard Christmas tree and winter maze will be on display until Jan 2.
