You know the storyline: kid has a problem, wishes his toys were alive and opens his eyes to see his wish has come true.
The plot of Starlight Express, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stage production that opens tonight at Marina Bay Sands, may sound twee, but everything else ain’t child’s play.
Not only does the entire cast of 28 perform on roller skates, one of them is none other than stunt skater Matt King, who single-handedly performed the famous Evian Roller Baby ad (watch it below) in 2009.
Couple that with a stunning high-tech stage, 3D projection and gripping choreography by West End veteran Arlene Phillips and you’ve got yourself a killer post-dinner activity.
