Here’s one top list that we desperately need not be in. Yet again — and probably for many more upcoming years — Singapore remains one of the costliest places to enjoy beer.
GoEuro‘s latest study tallied the 10 most expensive cities in the world to drink beer, and the Republic placed seventh, ahead of the likes of New York, Rome and Tel Aviv. At least having a pint here isn’t as wallet-pinching as Hong Kong — effectively the most expensive place to have a beer in Asia.

But say goodbye to going bar-hopping in the Swiss city of Lausanne, where the average price of a 33cl beer is $17.60.
