It seems budget smartphone genius Xiaomi has confirmed rumours of their expansion into Singapore.
The company that sold 18.7 million handsets in 2013 and is expected to overtake Apple’s share in the market posted a photo bearing the words “Hello Singapore” onto their Hong Kong and Taiwan Facebook pages this morning.

A Xiaomi Singapore Facebook page has also been set up.
To round things up, VP Hugo Barra posted this on his Google+ page: “It’s finally official — Xiaomi coming to Singapore! Details coming soon…”
