In a social media shaming attempt gone wrong, a woman tried to go viral by uploading several Facebook posts chronicling a horrible experience with her Grab driver.

Judging from the multiple videos uploaded on Chen Yu Xi’s account, it seems like she was the one who acting like a proper brat. It really was no surprise that the Grab driver blew up at her — she had been “extreme horrible!!!!!” (her exact phrasing). It’s a pretty long winded affair, so we’ll break it down into acts.

Act 1: The Call

Chen starts filming her Grab driver, who was admittedly raising his voice a little while conversing with someone on his phone.

Her appall seems unjust, however. Chen was fearing for her life and called her driver “siao” (crazy) just for talking on the phone while driving. FYI: He’s not doing anything wrong because he’s on a headset — it’s only illegal if he’s holding the mobile device in his hands while driving.

Chen seems to be making a complaint to Grab or the police here, while the driver keeps his conversation going on his phone (sounds like he’s facing some family or financial issues). She also starts raising her voice, expressing her unhappiness. Apparently, she’s in a rush, but also wants the driver to drive carefully (??). Driver is confused and makes it clear. She continues to play the victim, telling him to concentrate on the road instead of talking on the phone. Driver gets even more confused, because he’s not breaking any rules.

Act 2: The Fight

Driver gets proper irritated by Chen, telling the other person on his line that he’ll call back later because his passenger is acting like an asshole. Chen seems to be complaining to someone on the phone.

At this point of time, the driver just can’t hold back anymore. He yells at his passenger about the speed limits, so presumably Chen had been asking him to go faster (but also drive carefully?). She continues to berate the poor man about “being polite” until she gets a little breathless.

She gets out the car… and doesn’t have the money to pay the fare. Oh dear. She even goes up to other motorists and complains about the driver, who at this point just wants the cash he’s owed so he can GTFO of there.

Act 3: The Lesson

Fielding so much hate on her Facebook posts, Chen defends herself the day after the incident. She complains that she injured her toenails too. The amount of delusion is phenomenal here. What a total clusterfuck.

Epilogue

Chen is now a fan of Uber.
