In rather gloomy news this rainy Friday afternoon, the Roads.sg Facebook page reported about an alarming incident along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Changi — an apparent suicide attempt.
According to the community page, a woman had jumped from an overhead bridge and onto the expressway, said to be between the Paya Lebar and Eunos exit.
An update by a witness noted that the injured woman was taken to the hospital. More details to come.
