Kanebo Cosmetics recalled 54 of its products in Japan and 17 in Singapore only two months ago when it discovered key ingredient Rhododenol may cause white patches on skin, but that has not stopped local financial consultant Ms. Diana Foo from blowing a four-figure sum on the brand with a single purchase.
Ms. Foo is a firm believer in Kanebo’s Impress Granmula face cream, which costs a whopping $1,800 for 40g.
In an interview with The New Paper, Ms. Foo said she’s noticed visible results like refined pores and more moisturised skin ever since she started using Impress Granmula.
“To me, such creams are value for money because you’ll have fewer problems to rectify in the future,” she said.
