33-year-old Gordon Yeo was found dead at his flat early yesterday morning, sporting multiple slash and stab wounds.
His wife, Vivien Teoh Yi Wen, has just been charged in court with the murder of her husband at their home in Bukit Panjang, The Straits Times reports.
The 26-year-old human resource executive with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (ironically) was reported to have been in a loud, vicious quarrel with her husband around midnight last Sunday, which neighbours said to have ended with a loud banging sound. According to The New Paper, Teoh was seen carrying their one-year-old daughter out of the house and went off to parts unknown before she was arrested by the police.
In court, she had no objections to being in remand during the course of the police investigations. She will be returning to court on Sep 8, and might face the death penalty if convicted.
