Weary passengers went on an evening stroll on LRT tracks in Sengkang after train stalled last night

An evening stroll on the LRT tracks? Why not, it’ll be fun —  thought none of the weary, tired passengers who had to walk along the tracks when their train stalled last night in Sengkang.

Apparently, a train fault had caused the train to stop in between Sengkang station and Renjong station at 7pm, merely 200 metres away from the latter. SBS announced disruption of services on the Sengkang East and West (outer loop) around soon afterwards, while staff arrived at the stalled train 20 minutes after the breakdown, according to Channel NewsAsia. After failing to restart the train, the 30-odd passengers were asked to alight and escorted in the darkness towards Renjong station.
