If there was a way to strike fear into the hearts of kids ignorant of traffic safety, this footage should be it.
A dashcam clip recently uploaded on Facebook by user Suzy Adorabella Lyliana has gone batshit viral over its vividly shocking content — a young boy getting ploughed into by a car. Don’t worry, the boy managed to get up and walk away; no deaths here.
It’s clear from the video that the boy is at fault for (a) not looking out for traffic before crossing, (b) dashing across the road, and (c) not waiting for the bus to depart first. The fact that the driver even managed to brake just enough to prevent massive injuries proves that he/she wasn’t going at a high speed as well. Hopefully the clip will prove that the driver wasn’t at fault (entirely at least) for the accident.
It’s a harshly painful lesson for the young boy, but he’ll definitely be real careful every time he crosses the road for the rest of his life.
