A wedding shoot at Block 608 Woodlands Ring Road took Chinese traditions very seriously — serious enough to go all the way back to the practices of ancient royalty.

In an epic, elaborate photo shoot, newlyweds and their various bridesmaids and groomsmen enacted a scene straight outta history. Dressed in vibrant, traditional robes, the bride was carried in a Jiaozi carriage by four sporting aides, accompanied alongside by a group of sashaying ladies. Dressed in fiery red, a man (presumably the groom) leads the entourage in the procession as folks laughed at the surreal hilarity of the scene, surrounded by very modern apartment blocks.
