Fasten your seatbelts and hold on for a ride through a teenspeak-laden rant about a GrabHitch driver accused of being “self-entitled” by a 19-year-old student.

The teen took to Instagram Stories earlier today to recount her exasperation with the driver, who (according to her) arrived way later than what was initially promised. In a tirade filled with usages of “like”, coarse language and the vocal fry register, Lexi takes issue with how the driver allegedly became unresponsive after not showing up at the pickup point on time. When she canceled on him, he apparently showed her “goddamn attitude”, which she was not happy about. Also, he apparently looked like a “typical, like, fuccboi”, which is probably an unnecessary criticism.

But to be fair to the driver, GrabHitch is more of a social carpooling platform, and drivers aren’t working in a professional capacity under Grab. If she wanted to make it to school on time, she could have booked a standard GrabCar (or at least GrabShare) to ensure that she did.

On the other hand, the teen is well within her rights to cancel the ride if it is true that he remained uncontactable when he didn’t show up on time.
