A teacher at Chung Cheng High School landed himself in the hall of internet legends after gamely doing a dab following a simple physics experiment in class, to the extreme delight of his students.
’Twas a moment made of pure lit — the teacher known to many as Mr Tan stood up on a chair and demonstrated how two objects of clearly different mass fall with the same acceleration. Dramatic demo done, dude whipped out a dab so spectacular, he nearly broke the laws of physics.
The video made its way to a Facebook meme page appropriately titled “Edgy English Memes For Angsty Teens Who Have A Slight Disliking Of Plebs”, where over 3,000 folks were severely shook by the epically turnt turn of events. What’s next, a vaping geography teacher? A memelord physical education coach?
Say what you will of his methods, but one former student of the now exalted educator noted how Mr Tan had been “one of the most funny and enriching” science teachers he ever had.
Now this is one rad adult (radult?) who gets dabbing right — we still wince at the thought of that cringefest of a Chinese New Year promo by Channel 8 celebrities.
