WATCH: SIA’s unexpectedly low-grade commercial for their Kris chatbot

For one of the best airlines in the world offering one of the most luxurious ways of flying commercially (and costing as much as $24,000 at it), Singapore Airlines sure skimped on the budget for this ad.

Where do we even begin? From the bad lighting to the wooden acting; from the cringe-worthy dialogue to the poor shooting angles. The biggest sin, however, is that this little clip for SIA’s chatbot Kris is boring, and in no way provides an attractive reason for why customers should even use it.

Oof, a pretty far cry from the quality one would expect from SIA — it looks like it was made by the same people who made that atrocious Faves Asia ad. Don’t take it from us though, take it from the dozens of people who provided some highly valuable feedback to the airline.

A bad ad would be kinda okay if the product actually works well, but alas. It’s unclear if people tried to ask the chatbot why the commercial is so badly done.
