Details are scant for now about this absurdly horrendous crash that seems to have taken place in the wee hours of this morning. On Facebook, a dashcam clip surfaced, shocking viewers with the moment of impact when a car smacked right into the back of a stationary truck at full speed.
Traveling on the first lane, the car driver must not have seen the lit-up signals from afar and couldn’t brake in time. The force of the crash, however, was so intense that the car actually went underneath the truck, which smacked into the rear of another similar truck parked in front of it.
The yellow trucks look like the type used by tree cutting and pruning service workers, who were presumably doing their jobs at the side of the road when the crash occurred. Some netizens noted that the traffic cones were placed too close to the trucks to prevent motorists from accidentally drifting into the lane, while others said that those flashing warning lights on the truck should’ve been a big enough sign for the driver to avoid the accident.
