In Bollywood (or Pollywood, Mollywood, Kollywood and many other South Asian variants) films, realism takes a back seat to other elements such as singing, dancing, romance, drama and — more often than not — completely absurd action sequences.
Even when the movie’s filmed in Singapore, you can bet that ridiculous stunts and ultra-dramatic camera motion will make an appearance. But don’t take our word for it; just watch this amazing chase scene involving a BMX gang taking on the hero of a film as they ride across various Singaporean landmarks before the big showdown at the Somerset Skate Park. Recently uploaded on Facebook by Apple Tan (presumably one of the BMX stuntmen involved in the movie), it’s a firm reminder that Singapore is plagued by dangerous biker robbers — and all you need to defeat them is some BMX-fu skills of your own.
Other than the fact that the film belongs to Goldmines Telefilms, we can’t seem to find the title of this movie though — let us know if you do know the original source.
