It’s like something out of a Deadpool movie — hopefully inspired by the superhero himself? Or, more likely, just mimicking the iconic buses of London. Whatever the case, there’s exciting news in the realm of public transport. And no, it’s not another train breakdown.
You’re looking at brand new double decker buses by the Go-Ahead Group, a UK transport operator who’ve taken up the Loyang Bus Package, with 25 new routes based out of the Loyang Bus Depot, which can hold up to 500 buses.
And since their fleet takes up a quarter of the British city’s bus services, these shuttles are modelled after the originals.
Operations will begin in the third quarter of 2016, with services taking the road to locations like Tampines, Bedok, Sengkang and Punggol. Now you can get all the feels of a London-style ride without leaving the country.
