In the morning rush hour along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), a vicious accident involving two motorcyclists transpired, with one of their bikes flying into the side of a car.
It’s unclear how the first motorcyclist lost control of his bike, but from the dashcam footage it seems like he was in between lanes before he crashed hard to his left. The motorbike tumbled and knocked into a Mitsubishi travelling on the third lane. Meanwhile, another motorcyclist travelling on the second lane was not able to stop in time and ran over the fallen rider, sending the second casualty into the air as well.
The second fallen motorcyclist, however, seemed to be relatively fine, considering he immediately got up and lifted his own motorbike. The condition of the yellow bike’s rider is unclear, but according to Roads.sg, he escaped with minor injuries.
