It’s a bird, it’s a plane — no, it’s a giant octopus. And it’s.. swimming in the sky?
Okay, before you freak out and flee to the streets to announce the apocalypse is upon us, it’s just a kite. And a damn cool one at that. The 20-storey tall octopus kite was flown at Marina Barrage last weekend, and it was so enormous, it took six people to get it afloat and 10 to maintain its flight.
Just check out the video below — the magnificent creature floats in the sky so regally, it’s weirdly enthralling. No wonder the vid went viral, racking up over ten million views in less than a week.
