WATCH: Some lady being really mad after seeing ‘Singapore’ emblazoned on the back of a girl’s jersey shorts

Another moment of unnecessary commotion erupted in public again, this time allegedly involving a fuming Filipino lady and a prissy Singaporean auntie.

Someone uploaded this footage of an altercation at a hawker centre, where a local auntie told off a young woman for wearing shorts that had the word ‘Singapore’ emblazoned on the back. Basically, the lady was said to have been unhappy about seeing it on someone’s bottom.

The girl — said to be of Filipino descent by netizens — erupted in anger, yelling back at the auntie while her friends (also wearing the same jerseys) only looked on. What she yelled exactly is indiscernible, because the footage was recorded with a potato.

Ehh, just your typical shouting match in the heartlands. Facebook user Colin Foo pointed out that it ain’t anything new:
