What is it about modern electric scooters that give people the dumb courage to ride on roads alongside actual vehicles that can easily crush them?
Yet another e-scooter rider with a death wish was spotted zooming through an underground expressway, right in the middle lane. To the rider’s credit, a helmet was worn at least during his highly dangerous cruise on the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE).
An ah beng techno parody was inevitable.
Amazingly, this isn’t the first time e-scooter riders have been caught zipping through expressway tunnels. Back in June, an individual was seen riding his personal mobility device (PMD) on the road shoulder of the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway.
Just a heads up to all the other e-scooter riders out there — your gizmos aren’t allowed to be used on roads at all, no matter how fast they can go.
