Watch: Hearts break island-wide as poster boy for police anti-crime campaign gets married

He’s been spotted by supermarkets, outside retail shops and in numerous malls. Over 800 cardboard standees of Assistant Superintendent Ryan Koh have popped up across the island since 2014, making him the face (and body) of the anti-crime campaign by the Singapore Police Force. Many have swooned over the good-looker, and many potential crimes have been stopped (we hope).

Alas, it looks like the 33-year-old is officially off the market. On Saturday afternoon, he got hitched to his new bride, Sabrina, at St Andrew’s Cathedral, prompting many netizens to offer their congratulations to the happy couple. Some even cracked jokes about his fame, with comments like, ‘STOP! In the name of love’, and ‘The only crime that the bride committed was stealing his heart’.

Here’s their sweet wedding video, where Koh breaks out in a surprise serenade, proving his pipes are as strong as his poster-posing game.

Ryan & Sabrina

We are glad to share with you the wedding of Singapore’s most famous constable and his wife, Sabrina, who happens to be a policewoman herself. If you find Ryan familiar, that’s because you probably seen his hugely popular cardboard standee at one of the shopping malls or public places, acting as the face of the police’s anti-crime campaign. What many of us didn’t know was that he had a great voice as well, as he serenaded Sabrina with his surprise song during the evening banquet. With the dinner graced by many from the police force, its no wonder that his colleagues stopped him with his signature pose during the SPF slow march. It was a wonderful day of celebrations and our sincere congratulations to both Ryan & Sabrina!
