We live in a multi-religious society, but do we really talk honestly about religion in an open-minded manner? That’s what the Singapore Kindness Movement seeks to explore in its first of a two-part ‘Have You Ever’ video series (the second will focus on xenophobia).
In line with SKM’s 2016 theme of ‘Kindness, It’s Up to Us’, the video offers perspectives from people of different races and religions about sensitive issues that aren’t always talked about. Seven participants answer questions on their personal experiences or observations of religious discrimination in Singapore, in what’s touted as the ‘tennis ball test’, where they throw or retrieve the balls based on their answers.
Watch it and ask yourself the same questions.
