Yes, we do express our love (and occasional disdain) for Singapore by constantly complaining about everything, which is pretty much our national pastime — after eating, that is. It’s just not that cool to overtly proclaim our undying love for the nation… right? Except perhaps on National Day itself. Maybe.
Anyway, funnywoman/online personality Preetipls recently put up a tongue-in-cheek video for Singapore’s 52nd birthday, presenting 26 things she loves (and dislikes) about Singapore. Basically, all the topics close to Singaporeans’ hearts are on that list. Yep, everything from Giordano’s Photoshop fiasco to local talents on Sing! China to the siao lang town that is Yishun.
Even LiHO made it in there, for “reminding us all that we prefer Gong Cha”.

FYI, after you’re done with the video, re-watch it again and read the Mandarin subtitles (or get someone to translate it for you) — they’re nowhere close to what Preetipls actually says.
