Unfortunate as this viral incident may be, it’s a common reality faced by motorcyclists — some drivers just think lowly of them.
Timothy experienced this harsh truth recently when he shared a clip about his brother allegedly being knocked down by a car while on the way to Punggol Nasi Lemak at Hougang. Both the motorcyclist and his female pillion were badly hurt, but the driver placed all the blame on the victims and refused to check if they were alright.
As if the driver’s cold-hearted attitude wasn’t enough, he went on to exclaim that it’s wrong to ride motorbikes. Losing his cool, the victim’s buddy went on to rebuke the driver as if he was a small child — to which the uncle simply replied, “see you in court”.
The car driver may or may not be at fault for the accident, considering there’s no footage of the crash itself. Then again, why not have a little compassion — rendering a wee bit of help can’t hurt.
