Netizens are yelling out for justice after a man was caught on tape allegedly stealing the hard-earned cash of a Grab driver who was ferrying him to his destination.
It’s hard to verify the information, but apparently the thief made away with more than $500 that seemed to have been placed within arm’s reach of the passenger. You can watch the whole process in the clip below — note how the alleged thief surreptitiously slid his arms in between the front seats and grabbed the cash while the driver was distracted looking for the stop.
In a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation, reportedly between the Grab driver and another person, the victim mentioned that he was not able to get the personal details of the passenger as his name disappeared after he was dropped off. What’s sad is the fact that the alleged thief apparently made away with three days’ worth of his earnings.
As the clip gains virality across social media, internet vigilantes are already on the case (of course), and they seem to have identified the dastardly Grab passenger. But we won’t be publishing the person’s details — you can go find it out yourself.
