In one of the weirder cases of improperly parked shared bikes in Singapore, this one takes the cake for being the most asshole-ish, not to mention highly dangerous.
A motorcyclist by the name of Felix Hew had the unfortunate experience of coming across an ofo bicycle that someone placed right in the middle of a road on Wednesday afternoon. The fact that it was standing upright with its kickstand out meant that some dumb prankster went out of his/her way to park it there, where vehicles could have easily crashed into it if drivers weren’t attentive enough.
Fortunately, Hew saw the road hazard from afar and managed to stop his motorcycle in time. Being the considerate road user he is, Hew took the bicycle off the road and placed it somewhere safer before continuing on with his journey.
It’s just insane to think about the lengths some pricks would take to damage and destroy bikes from bike-sharing firms.
