Cyclist wrecks himself after veering into road works site; folks sympathize fallen traffic cone instead

Appropriately shared by a Facebook page titled “Singapore Silly Cyclists”, folks are having a laugh at a video that depicted a very enthusiastic cyclist wrecking himself while riding on a stretch of road with his buddies.

A cyclist had his night ruined (presumably with more than a couple of bruises) and he only had himself to blame. The man had sped up in an apparent attempt to overtake a fellow cyclist in front, only to veer too close to some road construction works. After knocking down a traffic cone, the cyclist appeared to have slammed straight into a poor worker, knocking his yellow hard hat off his head. One big yike for that guy.

It’s unclear when and where it took place, but plain to see that folks held more sympathy for the construction worker (and the innocent traffic cone) than the reckless cyclist.

This reminds us of another classic schadenfreude-esque video from 2017 that had another cyclist enduring a painful tumble due to his own folly.
