April Fools’ Day is the one day you shouldn’t trust anything you read, hear or see. Not even if your friends are the ones doing the convincing… unless the outcome is a win-win for all.
Cornering diners at an eatery to join in an April Fools’ joke, Chope Singapore pitched them a ‘special mission’: if they could convince their friends to order ‘The One and Only’ — an odd mix of chicken feet, crushed papadum, luncheon meat purée and salted egg sauce — and take the first bite, they’d be rewarded with $500 cash immediately.
It all sounds pretty doable, actually. Especially for the adventurous foodies of Singapore.
