When it first came out in 1995, ‘Wonderwall‘ by Oasis was a certified radio hit, and it remains the (now-defunct) Britpop band’s most recognisable tune.
But more than 20 years later, ‘Wonderwall’ is considered to be a joke of a song — so much so that it has its own meme. The joke here is that the Oasis classic has become a clichéd, go-to song for amateur douches who only know how to strum that relatively easy song on the guitar.

TL;DR — Say no to ‘Wonderwall’.

Alas, the vexing song remains a party favourite — especially when it’s played by a roguish Spaniard on the NEL train to serenade passengers. Anyway, here’s ‘Wonderwall’. Bloody hell.
