Warm your heart with these 2 neighbourly incidents of racial and religious harmony

Sometimes, when you’re down in the dumps about the future of our economy or the latest flash flood or the state of America world affairs, something comes along to cheer you up and restore your faith in racial and religious harmony.

These two guys — in two separate incidents — experienced heart-warming situations that must be shared (to spread the love and peace).

First, there was the man who snapped a picture of his brother picking up and properly arranging their longtime neighbour’s altar offerings when a gust of wind knocked them out of place.

Next up, celebrity chef Shahrizal Salleh, who’s no stranger to making the news (his compliment disguised as a complaint of a Harvey Norman employee went viral, as did his call for tolerance and understanding during the Hungry Ghost Festival).

This time, he expressed appreciation for his considerate neighbour, who thoughtfully approached him to ask for permission to put an altar outside her flat so she could burn incense.

The world could use more kind neighbours like these.
