No matter what life throws your way, you don’t stay down. You get back up and ride away into the sunset… or to people’s homes with their food orders, which is what this GrabFood delivery man did.
Yesterday, an image that surfaced on the Connextaxi Facebook page went viral almost immediately, even though it was a simple photograph of a man just doing his job. Whoever took the snapshot must’ve been encouraged by the dude, who had a prosthetic right leg and was holding on to his bike with the GrabFood bag strapped to his back. He was probably in the process of delivering an order when he caught the attention of the person behind the camera.
Just as the photo caption said “kudos to this warrior,” netizens also came forth to salute the rider, who they deemed as an inspiration and an example of a persevering spirit and a determined work ethic. He was a reminder to never give up despite life’s challenges, they said.
One individual was so heartened by the sight that they took it to a new level and used the image as their phone wallpaper.
The Internet’s always full of surprises, but we’re glad this one’s an uplifting one.
