In the past, you take picture of dog. Today, dog take picture of you.
Meet Grizzler, the world’s first canine photographer, and probably the first dog to be endorsed by Nikon. Grizzler here is a pioneer in the school of heartography, in which a device captures his heart rate and helps him snap a picture on the Nikon Coolpix L31 strapped onto his chest every time his heart rate jumps. The results are far too adorable not to share.
Unfortunately, concepts this cute are too good to be true. As much as we want to deeply believe that somewhere out there an intrepid dog is taking photos using its heart, the whole thing is — like this dude said — a throne of lies.

A couple of elements already indicate the invalidity of the stunt — how the camera is strapped too loosely to the dog’s chest to get crystal clear shots; how the dog’s fur doesn’t enter the frame — but the biggest tell is this picture of a car that it purportedly took:
Enhance.

ENHANCE.

That’s a reflection of a dude squatting down with a camera in his hand, not Grizzler. So yeah, sorry Nikon Asia. Great marketing concept though.
