Probably sick and tired of all the verbal abuse endured by his fellow colleagues everyday, an SMRT staff blew up and bellowed at a particularly exasperating commuter.
In a video uploaded on The Real Singapore Facebook page, the footage starts off with a petite lady causing a commotion at an underground MRT platform, loudly berating a group of staff, pointing at their faces, shouting vulgarities and threatening to lodge a complaint to the Ministry of Transport over an unknown issue.
After observing the situation from the sideline as his colleague tries to calm her down, a member of the staff completely loses it and yells at her, lambasting her over her lack of respect for SMRT staff, and warning her to mind her words — a clear release of a deep-seated resentment towards abusive commuters. The lady is at a sudden loss for words, not expecting the uniformed personnel to defend themselves.
The frenzied lady is then dragged away by the security as her shrieks fade away in the distance.
