Video: SMRT bendy bus sideswipes furious TP officer while making turn

Bus drivers seem to be getting into quite a fair bit of predicament lately, with one causing the death of a 30-year-old woman at Punggol last week, and another incident that saw a double-decker bus colliding with a trailer and a tipper truck on Tuesday. 

The latest episode was captured on video by motorist Wilson Low, which was uploaded on the Beh Chia Lor — Singapore Road Facebook page. After chastising a motorist over some sort of matter, a Traffic Police officer found himself in a precarious position when his bike got swiped by one of SMRT’s bendy buses while it was making a turn. Incensed, he went on to chase the bus, and things probably didn’t go well for the bus driver after that.
