All Singapore Stuff today uploaded a video that was apparently submitted by a reader with a caption that basically rebukes a cyclist for riding on the road. “This guy got a death wish ah? Still want to ride on the road after all the new rulings in place?” the uploader wrote in a post.
From the looks of the clip, however, the cyclist wasn’t in the wrong.
Coupled with the fact that he was wearing a helmet and wasn’t zipping between lanes recklessly, netizens rightly pointed out that the man is actually well within his rights to cycle on the road.

A public service announcement for all motorists who may not be happy with sharing the road with cyclists — bicycles and electric power-assisted bicycles are totally allowed on cycling paths and public roads. Electric scooters, however, are strictly not allowed on roads.
