Here’s something that you’d never expect (nor do you ever want) to see while driving on the expressway — a lone car driving fast against the flow of traffic, coming straight at you.
In a complete act of life-risking lunacy, the driver behind the wheel of the red car (it looks like an MPV) actually drove on the right-most edge of the Ayer Rajah expressway early this morning, leaving other motorists swerving out of his way. Maybe he was driving in the wrong direction as a protest against left-driving countries?
Netizens on Facebook commented that they witnessed the car eventually crash near National University Hospital, and presumably caused the massive jam on the AYE this morning. Several reasons behind his demented driving could be Singapore Grand Prix fever, his GPS device told him to continue that way, or he’s really into Grand Theft Auto.
