Two motorists tried to beat the red light at the same time, but only one of them came out relatively unscathed when they collided into each other pretty viciously at a traffic junction in Serangoon last Saturday.
Footage uploaded on the Singapore Reckless Drivers community showed how it all transpired — and also how nasty the rider got hit during his unwise haste to make a right turn. The impact smashed his bike to smithereens, sending debris flying at least 10m away, The Straits Times reports.
The motorcyclist was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment, while police investigations are still ongoing.
